So, How Have You All Been, Anyway?

Well, I'll get straight down to it. As of tonight, Koop's personal life is in turmoil, as is Dwyer's, but Jake's looks to take a positive turn. Assuming he doesn't die first. But no, no more half-revelations. On to the main bit of my postings.

I went and bought a little spiral notepad, which I'm now taking along with me everywhere. That way, if I hear a song I want to download, I write it down and don't forget it. Same for song I want to learn, and for story and blog ideas, also.

Also thought I'd point out how regular of a commenter I have been on everyone's blogs. Not attention-grabbing, just saying. Bu then, you all comment me too. So I guess I'll follow the trend and thank you all for taking the couple of minutes to say something about my inane drivel.

Another thing I want brought to everyone's attention is the fact that people still obviously read your blogs. One person at least. I'm not going to stop reading them anytime soon because, hell, what else have I got to do with my time? If you get comments, people still read your blog.

Note to all: Playing guitar with a jarred finger hurts.

Anywho, I don't talk to most of you nearly enough anymore. We should catchup. In that spirit, and linking back to the title of this post, when you comment on this post (if you do), don't just tell me it was a good post. Tell me how you've been, what you've been up to. I'll listen interestedly, nod politely in all the right spots, and even might answer if you're lucky. (HINT: I'll definitely answer.) So tell me about your life. Because I need a break from mine. Work gets boring after awhile. Jobs are over-rated, except for the paycheck bit.

Anyways I won't bore you any longer, except to say, self-deprecating posts are fine, as long as you acknowledge that someone's reading them.

See you all round, like a rissole!

Holiday Epica - Week One

Well, greetings again to all of you who still care enough to click your way on over to the Blog of the Sledgehammer and see if I have bothered to post. I hope this set of people still exists.

Did you all enjoy my gadgets?

I'm going to soon put up a poll on here, to see whether, firstly, enough of you care enough to vote and secondly, what new content you would like to see on here in future.

And so now, to the main point of what will likely be a very short post: the first week of holidays.

I spent the majority of it sleeping. When I wasn't sleeping, I was sleeping while awake, working, or it was the weekend.

The weekend is a point of its own because I actually did something! I went to Jake's over the weekend. We went and saw Transformers 2.

On arriving at the cinema we found the place chock-full of girls below the age of 12, excepting their chaperone mothers. We couldn't explain this strange phenomenon, until we looked at a movie times program to discover: the Hannah Montana movie was due to start in five minutes.

So, once the dust had settled, we went and bought tickets, and about 20 minutes later, drinks and popcorn. I bought a solo, Jake bought a Schweppes Lemonade, which tasted off. He went back and complained and enter Solo Guy! Jake said that it didn't taste right, so Solo Guy tested it and said "That's because it soda water!" He then offered Jake a replacement drink for free. Jake asked for a Solo, and Solo Guy said "Solo's better anyway. Helps you pick up hot chicks." If he delivers on his promise, he will be elevated to legend status, deserving of a medal.

Anywho, now that the saga of Solo Guy is complete for the moment, I bid you all goodbye, dear readeers. If any still exist.

Peace Out, and don't do anything I wouldn't

Gadgets

So, I found out about all these gadgets you can add to your blog. Pretty cool stuff. A I was scrolling through the list, I picked a couple out, which I thought would be good additions to this blog.
So now, if you look to the bottom of the page, you will see a calendar showing the current date for those who don't know; and the current weather conditions, which as far as I know, I have set up to show in Celsius, for Newcastle.
So, when you're around and about on my blog, be sure to have a check of the date, or the weather. Because, seriously, who can be bothered...erm...going outside to look at the sky, or...looking at a calendar.

Anywho, catch ya later,

Chris.

P.S: Please give me feedback on what you think of these, what you want added to my blog, and whether the weather gadget shows the weather for Newcastle, in Celsius for you.

EDIT: I am also adding a Sudoku sidebar, so that you can come here for all your puzzling needs.

Afternoon Philosophy

Oftentimes on the long and arduous 15-minute journey from the bus stop to my home, I get bored, despite the average of 5 songs I have tiome to listen to on the way. In these intermittent periods of boredom, I do what you might call philosophise. Although, if anyone ever tried to follow my train of thought, it'd probably confuse them quite a bit. In this post, I will simply write down whatever thoughts run through my head. This may let things out that I would otherwise never reveal, so feel priveleged! Feeling priveleged? Good. Then let's begin.

(Leaves bus)
*music*
*music*
Maybe I should write a blog post tonight.
What would I write it on, though?
*Composes literary piece in mind, to be forgotten before anything can be done with it*
That'd be pretty cool to post on my blog.
Nah, people would think I was weird if I wrote that.
Dammit, I need to grow a pair and ask her out.
But she was away today, and that was when I was going to.
Why has Lydia been away so long? I hope nothing's wrong.
*Wonders why I always feel pissed-off when walking home*
*Sees some random walking past, envisages random and I having a fight, me winning*
*Wonders where the sudden srge of aggresiveness came from*
Hmm, it's been ages since I've really talked to anyone in that group. I wonder how they're all going.
I miss sitting with tha tgroup.
Ah well, I'm sure it'd only be awkward if I went back there at this point.
Dammit, I need to grow a pair and ask her out!
DAMMIT!
*Agressiveness passes*
Maybe I should look up some more tabs for my guitar.
Meh, can't be buggred.
What will I do tonight?
Probably sit on the computer unti lway too late, then regret it when I get up feeling dead tomorrow morning.
Meh.
Oh, this is the bit that destroys me in this song.
Yes!
Why do so many people trust me with their secrets, and others, who are pobably smarter, not?
(Arrives home)

And so, on revision, I realised that this is actually pretty followable. Oops, hers another bit of my stream of consciousness, pulled it out for you just now.

Makes me wonder...
Ooooh-ooh, it make me wonder (And she's buying a stairway to heaven)

And she was bu-uy-ing a stai-ir-way...to heaven...

The Sledgehammer that Does NOT Exist was fallen on by the ink that fell also on the Cookies N' Cream

Whew. I couldn't think of a title for this post, so I named it a mash-up of all other blogs. Hopefully that'll remind some people (*cough*vampires*cough*) to post. Speaking of which, we've decided that Lydia is a vampire. Although who we are I'm not entirely sure. Also, if you don't see this at school tomorrow, which you will, unless you're a vampire who doesn't go to school anymore, I am now nearly bald. If you want to see photos of me with hair and a towel around my neck, and without, and apparently without a shirt, go to My Profile Page.
Moving on, thanks to generous donors I am now up to $35, only $40 to go. Of course, I don't know how to make my donations meter go up on that page, so I apparently haven't raised anything. LIES!
Also, I'm mentioning Emily for mentioning me on her blog, which can be found in the handy sidebar (how handy!).
Apart from which I can't--

NO! WAIT! I now play AFL for City. So there.

Now, where was I...

Oh yes, can't think of anything else to say, so I'll leave you with this. I'm contemplating starting up a webcomic here. So keep watching the skis.

Ciao for Niao,

Employment!

Well hey there, avid readers. As you remain hooked on every word in this post (obviously), you will discover the tale of my first day of Term 4, Year 9. I arrived at school, everything well and good, average day. So anyway, getting on with it, on to recess, which was pro. Ness and Jen gave me lollies, which I shared at the lysdexic card's request, and there was much rejoicing. HAD HIGGS FOR SCIENCE! How pro. He didn't know me, even though he said he did. :P Higgsy! Then on to that next class...what was it?... ENGLISH! AHA! Anyway, found out we're doing crime fiction this term. How pro. So yeah, then to lunch, which involved running away, comingh back to find everyone else has run away, everyone else coming back and some more pro-ness. After that we all went and hung out in IPT, then to German, where we watched the BHK (Berlin Heroes Krew) skate/scooter/run around the streets of Berlin in a random fashion (see: Emil and the Detective).

Then, I went out to Macca's to get ready to be interviewed. Bought a medium Coke, then the dude who was gunna tell me when to go in for my interview, gave me a free large Coke as well as the medium I bought. Got interviewed, all was pro.

And now, I've checked my emails, and BAM! BOOM! SHAKALAKA! BOOM! BOOM! SHAKE, SHAKE, SHAKE THA ROOM! I haz a job.

THanks for sitting through my nonsensical drivel,

~~Sledgehammer~~
