Noncommital

Just now, in simultaneous MSN conversations, I demonstrated the frustration abilities of simply deferring to answer. It was most amusing, here's a transcript.

Excerpt from Conversation 1:

<8:19PM>Josef : know what? i'm changing my status

<8:19PM>Chris : Mmkay.

(Josef changes his status to read "12 Days Remaining, Chris")

<8:19PM>Chris : Til?

<8:19PM>Josef : see that?

<8:20PM>Josef : no, you have to ask someone out in that time

<8:20PM>Chris : Mmkay.

<8:20PM>Josef : so, you will?

<8:23PM>Josef : ???

<8:25PM>Chris : ...

<8:25PM>Chris : Maybe.

<8:25PM>Josef : *disapproving stare* most likely?

<8:27PM>Chris : Maybe.

<8:27PM>Josef : yes/no?

<8:27PM>Chris : Maybe.

<8:28PM>Josef : grrrr!

End Excerpt

So you see, in the space of 9 short minutes, Josef was reduced to the point of "Grrrr!"

Excerpt from Conversation 2

<8:17PM>Geoff : CHRIS

<8:17PM>Geoff : WHERE THE F--K WERE YOU

<8:17PM>Chris : Uhh, not at school?

<8:22PM>Geoff : i know

<8:22PM>Geoff : WHY NOT

<8:25PM>Chris : Because I was at home.

<8:25PM>Geoff : WHY

<8:27PM>Chris : Because I wasn't at school.

<8:27PM>Geoff : Chris

End Excerpt

This time 10 minutes were required and it seems that 9 minutes may be the physical threshold for this form of breaking people. I will do more study and get back to you.
